Missing Citizen Still Unfound, Says Ministry of Emergency Situations Spokesperson

During a conversation with journalists at the site of the "Surmalu" shopping center, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hayk Kostanyan, stated that the only citizen considered missing by the ministry has not yet been found among the rubble, but search and rescue operations continue.

"The work will continue until the citizen is discovered," Kostanyan assured. He noted that the building at risk of collapse would not be dismantled until the missing person is located, and as soon as they are found, the issue of demolishing the building will be raised.

"When there are no safety concerns in the area, I believe that new work will begin by a professional organization, probably through a private intermediary, because the area is under the responsibility of a private entity, and those obligations are placed on them," the spokesperson of the Ministry of Emergency Situations mentioned.
