I Heard the Painful Details of the Incident from Our Citizens Affected by the Explosion: Anahit Avanesyan

I visited the citizens affected by the explosion who are receiving treatment in medical centers, spoke with them, and heard from them the painful details of the incident. All of their health conditions are assessed as satisfactory. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan.

“Our professional team is doing everything possible for the victims to recover quickly and return home,” she wrote.

It is worth mentioning that on August 14, at 13:23, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of an explosion and fire at the Surmalu shopping center located at 15 Arshakunyats Street in Yerevan, which partially collapsed the three-story building. The number of casualties from the explosion has reached 16, including a pregnant woman and a young child. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
