14-Year-Old Girl Discharged from Hospital, Says Gevorg Derdzian

Gevorg Derdzian, the spokesperson for the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center, made a statement: "The 14-year-old girl who was transferred to the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center from the Muratsan University Hospital following the explosion at the 'Surmalu' shopping center has been discharged. Wishing good health to the other injured. Thank you to the medical team."

Recall that on August 14, around 13:23, an explosion occurred at the 'Surmalu' shopping center. Firefighting and search operations involve 185 rescue workers, with twenty water trucks from the Yerevan city municipality, twelve dump trucks, five tractors, three aerial cranes, and seven additional pieces of equipment mobilized. Search and rescue teams from Shirak and Tavush cities have also been deployed to the scene.
