Çavuşoğlu on Relations with Armenia and Azerbaijan
The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has discussed the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, noting that the process is ongoing and certain steps have been taken in that direction. He spoke during the 13th ambassadors' conference held in Turkey.
According to Armenpress, the Turkish Foreign Minister emphasized that the process of normalizing relations with Armenia is coordinated with Azerbaijan, which has raised some concerns in Armenia. However, Çavuşoğlu assured that both Turkey and Azerbaijan are 'sincere.'
'We are a democratic country. Regardless of how the normalization process may be bilateral, it is essential that we all take steps to establish stability in the South Caucasus,' the Turkish Foreign Minister stated.
