Fire Erupts on Rooftop of Building in Yerevan

On August 7, at 00:23, the Crisis Management National Center received a report of a fire erupting on the rooftop of a building located at 5 Griboedov Street in Yerevan. This information was provided by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Two firefighting teams from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Division, along with a fire ladder and a duty group from the fire suppression and rescue operations division, were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the fire had spread to the rooftops of buildings at 50 Komitas Avenue and 5 Griboedov Street. The fire was contained by 01:28 and extinguished by 01:58. Approximately 50 square meters of the roofing structures were affected.
