And now the storks of Armenia look like this; they cannot fly, their feathers are glued by stone. The villagers are trying to clean them with all the means they know, but it is not working. The Armenian government and the responsible authorities blame the birds themselves, claiming that they feed in the landfills. Three to four years ago, there were storks and there were landfills. Thirty to forty years ago, all of this existed. Now you can see the stork, which is sung about in Armenian songs and poetry, but it is tarnished, polluted, and dirty.
