Video: Gabriel Sargsyan Leads Armenia to Victory Against India

In the ongoing Chess World Olympiad taking place in Chennai, India, the eighth round matches were held today.

The Armenian men's team competed against India and achieved a crucial victory with a score of 2.5 to 1.5.

Gabriel Sargsyan, playing as the top board for the team led by Arman Pashikyan, claimed victory against Pentala Harikrishna after a fiercely contested match, securing the win for our team.

Hrant Melkumyan, Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, and Robert Hovhannisyan ended their games in draws.

After eight rounds, the Armenian team continues to lead the standings, holding a sole position with 15 points. The second and third places are shared by India's second team and Uzbekistan, both with 14 points.
