Putin - Erdogan Meeting Concludes with Joint Statement
The meeting between President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey has concluded in Sochi, lasting approximately 4 hours, during which a joint statement was signed.
Russian media outlets have detailed the outcomes of the meeting. It was noted that Putin and Erdogan have agreed to increase the volume of trade between Russia and Turkey, as well as enhance cooperation in the fields of transportation, industry, agriculture, and construction.
Turkey has agreed to pay for Russian gas in rubles. Furthermore, the parties emphasized the necessity of ensuring the full implementation of the Istanbul grain deal.
The next meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council will take place in Turkey. Previously, the spokesperson for the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, had mentioned that among other issues, the agenda of the Putin-Erdogan meeting included the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
