Azerbaijan Came to Implement the Thesis of Loyal 'Armenian' Partners to Close the Lachin Corridor: Marukyan

It seems that few noticed that the Armenian side was calmly fulfilling its obligations regarding the Lachin Corridor, when suddenly, in May, well-known 'opposition' and 'expert' circles in Armenia began to announce that the Armenian authorities would soon hand over Berdzor and Agavno. This was reported by Edmond Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' party and special envoy, on his Facebook page.

In the post, it was stated: 'It seems that few noticed that the Armenian side was calmly fulfilling its obligations regarding the Lachin Corridor, first waiting for the discussion and approval of the plan, and then, with the design of an alternative route, naturally basing it on the timeframe of the trilateral declaration (the new route plan for traffic through the Lachin Corridor, ensuring the connection between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, will be determined within the next three years with further redeployments of Russian peacekeepers for the protection of that route).'

Suddenly, during May, well-known 'opposition' and 'expert' circles in Armenia began to state that the Armenian authorities would soon hand over Berdzor and Agavno, with one individual even claiming that the Azerbaijani flag would be hoisted in Agavno on the prime minister's birthday.

These statements started circulating and escalating in the Armenian press, under pressure from which the Armenian side began to present all its arguments as to why the respected 'oppositionists' and 'experts' were wrong.

Azerbaijan, naturally, best utilized the potential and skills of these individuals, injecting its narratives into the Armenian media space, listened to all the Armenian side's arguments, and went to work, initially carrying out new aggression in Nagorno-Karabakh, then ostensibly avenging its fallen soldier of aggression, and then implementing the theses of its loyal 'Armenian' partners by closing the Lachin Corridor in gross violation of the trilateral declaration timeline, and began to interpret the trilateral declaration as the 'opposition' and 'experts' in Armenia had claimed back in May.

The Armenians who were making these claims in May can say, 'Well, we were doing this because we want to save Agavno, we're oppositionists, and every day we look for something to save and then justify that these people are traitors.'

Now, is there anyone who can still doubt how Azerbaijan is being aided from within Armenia by any means and any way? Well, guys, do you feel good about what you've done? Are you satisfied with your actions, or do you think you won't be exposed for how you continuously promote hostile theses and complicate Armenia's vulnerable situation, all in the name of 'fighting against the government'?

Remember, the authorities will come and go, but we have no sacredness higher than the statehood of Armenia; it must be cherished above all else.'
