«There is No Other Option». Marukyan Made a Statement

What Azerbaijan has been doing in Artsakh recently is referred to in international law as ethnic cleansing. This was stated by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' parliamentary faction, on his Facebook page.

“Azerbaijan's policy of ethnic cleansing is an international crime. Sooner or later, it will bring the Azerbaijani leadership to justice. Our international partners must clearly distinguish between the victim of the situation and the perpetrator of ethnic cleansing. Only then will vague, toothless statements directed at both sides change into clear targeting, with the raising of accountability issues and the cessation of the policy of ethnic cleansing. There is no other option,” wrote Marukyan.
