Taiwan's Military Fires Missiles at Chinese Drones

Taiwan's military has detected Chinese unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Kinmen Islands, which the island authorities claim as their own. Multiple warning missiles were fired at the drones. This was announced on August 4 by Major General Chang Chung-sun of the Taiwan military's defense command.

According to the Major General, the threat level remains low. He noted that the drones were intended for gathering intelligence on the deployment of Taiwan's security forces.
