Russia's Defense Ministry Suspects USAID in COVID-19 'Creation'
The development of the COVID-19 pandemic allows for the speculation that it was premeditated and that the United States was involved in it. This was stated by the head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov.
“We are considering the possibility that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is complicit in the emergence of the novel coronavirus,” Kirilov said during a briefing today.
Kirilov noted that since 2009, USAID has funded the Predict program, which studies new strains of coronaviruses and involves the capture of bats, which are carriers of these viruses. “One of the project contractors is Metabiota, a company known for its military-biological activities in Ukraine,” he added.
Kirilov emphasized that it is noteworthy that in 2019 (before the first cases of COVID-19 emerged), exercises called Event-2019 were conducted based on the American Johns Hopkins Institute. These exercises developed response strategies for a previously unknown coronavirus pandemic, which, according to the exercise legend, was transmitted from bats to humans via an intermediate host—pigs. This is similar to how the “Spanish” flu virus once spread pandemic, claiming tens of millions of human lives.
“The scenario of COVID-19 development and the sudden closure of the Predict program by USAID in 2019 allow us to assume the premeditated nature of the pandemic and the involvement of the United States in its emergence,” Kirilov concluded.
Thus, the coronavirus may have been artificially created, possibly utilizing advancements in biotechnology from the U.S., as evidenced by the variability of atypical genetic variants of coronaviruses for the majority.
“There seems to be an impression that despite the efforts toward localizing and isolating infected individuals, the pandemic is artificially sustained through the 'injection' of new variants of the virus in certain regions,” Kirilov said.
He reminded that over 16,000 biological samples, including blood and serum samples, have been removed from Ukraine to the USA and European countries.
“Considering the U.S. administration's interest in studying biological means for 'narrowly targeted operations,' such statements prompt a re-examination of the causes of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection and the role of American military biologists in the emergence and spread of the COVID-19 pathogen,” Kirilov stated.
Kirilov also mentioned that research directions of the American company Labyrinth Global Health, within the framework of the U.S. Department of Defense's biological threat reduction program, included studies on coronaviruses and monkeypox virus.
He also recalled that on July 23, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of monkeypox a public health emergency of international concern, with the disease identified in 76 countries and the number of cases exceeding 26,000.
“Thus, we clearly see a trend: the pathogens of infectious diseases that emerge within the Pentagon's areas of interest subsequently receive pandemic distribution,” Kirilov declared. He highlighted that subsequently, U.S. pharmaceutical companies and their sponsors, the leaders of the U.S. Democratic Party, benefit from this.
