Man Stabbed and Killed in Yerevan; Suspect Caught Fleeing in Bloodstained Clothes

Today, on August 4, a resident of Yerevan, 59-year-old Gagik S., succumbed to his injuries at the "Saint Gregory the Illuminator" Medical Center. He had been transferred to the hospital on August 1 after being stabbed in the yard of a building on Moldovan Street in the Nor Nork administrative district.

Police apprehended the suspect shortly after the stabbing when he attempted to flee the scene. According to shamshyan.com, police received reports of the stabbing incident at a building on Moldovan Street on August 1.

Upon arriving at the rear of a yard near building 26 on Moldovan Street, officers encountered a suspicious man. Noticing that he was trying to leave the scene and that there were visible blood stains on his shirt, the police swiftly subdued him.

At the scene, investigators discovered bloodied slippers, a bloodied kitchen knife, and a bloodied mobile phone. Additionally, officers found a parked Volkswagen vehicle that was also marked with what appeared to be blood stains.
