Azerbaijan Demands Handover of Corridor, Why Haven't We Built the 'Alternative' Road Yet: Elibegova
Azerbaijan expert Angela Elibegova wrote on her Facebook page: “Azerbaijan is demanding the Lachin corridor. They have nearly completed the 'Alternative' road, while the Armenian side has not even started construction on our section. This means that the agreed-upon alternative road from 2020 technically does not exist, yet Azerbaijan is demanding the current corridor be handed over. A logical question arises for a normal person: why hasn't the Armenian side built our part yet? But then one looks at the condition of the Tatev road, which remained the only connecting route after the handover of Goris-Kapan, and no longer asks questions. It becomes clear for anyone who thinks logically.”
