40 Armenian Soldiers in Kosovo at Present, Ghazinyan
Currently, there are 40 Armenian soldiers in Kosovo as part of NATO's peacekeeping forces. This information was shared on Facebook by former MP Arthur Ghazinyan.
“They, under the authority of two UN resolutions, among other functions, are to guarantee the free movement of all communities in Kosovo,” he noted.
As previously reported, the Kosovo police have prohibited individuals with Serbian passports and vehicles with Serbian state license plates from moving throughout the entire territory of Kosovo. Thousands of Serbs live in northern Kosovo, holding Serbian citizenship and driving vehicles with Serbian license plates. This decision has led to discontent, after which the situation at the border with Serbia has escalated.
Last night, the Kosovo authorities postponed the ban on Serbian documents for one month.
