Rescuers Discover Bald Eagle Unable to Fly
On July 28, at 16:40, firefighters and rescuers from the Lori regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations spotted an eagle that was unable to fly while patrolling the city.
The Ministry reports that the bird is a bald eagle and is listed in the International Red Book.
As of July 29, at 00:15, the rescuers handed the eagle over to the staff of the Yerevan Zoo.
