Research Nuclear Reactor to be Built in Isfahan

Iran will soon begin construction of a research nuclear reactor in Isfahan, reports Fars news agency. “Official construction of the research reactor will start in Isfahan in the coming weeks,” announced Mohamad Eslami, head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization.

He noted that the planned capacity of the new reactor will be 10,000 megawatts of atomic energy. It was previously reported that Russia and Iran have agreed to strengthen dialogue around cooperation in the peaceful atomic sector and find specific solutions.
