Assassination Attempt on Singer Abraham Russo: Case Goes to Court

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has sent the assassination attempt case against singer Abraham Russo to court, reports Говорит Москва.

Previously, the office confirmed the indictment against Mikhail Demkin, Vitaly Zhura, and Alexey Tryasnikov.

According to the investigation, in 2006, businessman Telman Ismailov decided to kill the singer due to personal enmity. His bodyguard hired Demkin, Zhura, and Tryasnikov.

On August 19, Demkin shot at Russo and his bodyguard at least six times. The singer sustained four wounds to his left thigh.
