An Earthquake Recorded, Felt in Tavush

On July 28, at 10:39 local time (06:39 GMT), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 at geographic coordinates of 41.07° North latitude and 46.29° East longitude, in the border zone between Azerbaijan and Georgia, 35 km northeast of the city of Shamkhor, at a depth of 10 km.

The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone reached 5 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in the village of Koti in the Tavush region with a magnitude of 2-3.
