"Today the Time Has Come": Pushilin Calls to "Liberate" Kyiv and Odesa

Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), has stated on his Telegram channel that the time has come to "liberate Russian cities," including Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Lutsk.

According to him, these are cities founded by the "Russian people." He wrote, "Today the time has come to liberate once again the Russian cities founded by the Russian people: Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Lutsk."

His post was dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Brest, which he notes became an example of the courage and resistance of the Russian soldier. Pushilin added that the Brest fortress holds a special place in the history of the Great Patriotic War.

Earlier, an advisor to the DPR leader, Igor Kimakovskiy, announced that DPR units are ready to take control of the DPR territory and reach constitutional borders by the end of summer.
