Former Mayor of Vanadzor in Custody Transferred to Civil Hospital

Former Mayor of Vanadzor Mamikon Aslanyan, who is currently in custody, has been transferred to a civil hospital. This was reported by Nona Navikyan, the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, in a conversation with Radar Armenia.

According to her, "Mamikon Aslanyan has already been transferred to the civil hospital. He is currently in the hospital." However, Navikyan did not specify what health issues the detainee is facing.

According to lawyer Ruben Hakobyan, Aslanyan has complained of high blood pressure and heart problems.

It is worth noting that Aslanyan is accused of committing forgery and abusing his powers by selling community-owned lands.
