Video: Major Accident Scene - One Dead, Five Injured

The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has initiated a criminal case in connection with a traffic accident that resulted in death, as stipulated in the second part of Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. This investigation is being carried out by the road transport crime investigations division of the Yerevan investigative department.

According to preliminary data, on July 26, 2022, around 01:00, vehicles 'Opel' and 'Vaz 2102' collided on the highway connecting Khanzhyan Street to Heraci Street in Yerevan. As a result of the collision, the driver of the 'Vaz 2102' died on the spot, while the driver of the 'Opel' and four passengers from the vehicles were transported to a medical center with bodily injuries.

An investigation is underway.
