NSS and FSB Deny Reports of Turkish Soldiers Crossing Armenian Border
The Federal Security Service of Russia's border department and Armenia's National Security Service have denied reports that emerged yesterday regarding Turkish soldiers illegally crossing the Armenian state border and committing unlawful acts against residents of Aragatsavan.
It has been reported that the border protection service of the Armenia-Turkey state border operates on a daily basis. The Aragatsotn regional administration also denied these allegations yesterday, stating that no Turks have entered Aragatsavan and no shepherds have been taken captive.
Earlier, Aragatsotn Governor Sergey Movsisyan mentioned in a conversation with Auroranews that there are no Turks in Aragatsavan and no captives have been taken.
