VIDEO. Today it's Tsitsernakaberd, tomorrow it could be Yerablur: "Hraparak"

"Hraparak" reports: "The other day, the internet was shaken by a video showing a Turkish-affiliated individual desecrating the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex. A person who somehow arrived in Armenia climbed to our sacred site and defiled it with their presence and words. The fact that representatives of various nations, disguised, can infiltrate our country, including from hostile countries, is something we can no longer combat. An English-speaking individual, with a passport from a third country, can freely enter the country. Moreover, with the upcoming opening of borders and the full establishment of a 'peaceful era,' it will be even harder to prevent this. However, the mere fact that they can appear in our sacred places, desecrate them, and insult our national dignity is simply unacceptable and outrageous.

Today it's Tsitsernakaberd, tomorrow it could be Yerablur, the graves of Armenian writers, our churches, and khachkars. Who will deal with this? Who will prevent it? Who will punish the marauders infiltrating Armenia, who, in fact, are not satisfied with taking Artsakh and 5,000 innocent lives, and now attempt to take away our peace of mind and our dignity? They are playing with our national sensitivities.

In essence, we have no police or National Security Service that are obligated to prevent such incidents and ensure our safety. Instead of chasing the opposition, protecting the authorities, wiretapping, and catering to various governmental interests, law enforcement should focus on these kinds of incidents. Moreover, there should be round-the-clock shifts at the Genocide Memorial and Yerablur to prevent such shameful incidents, and those audacious 'guests' should be punished."
