LIVE: Government Meeting Underway

The Government of Armenia, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, is holding its regular session today, July 21. The agenda includes 41 items, of which 38 will not be reported on, and one is classified.

Among the items on the agenda are the following issues: the deferment from mandatory military service for a number of citizens with significant achievements in the field of sports from the summer conscription of 2022; the approval of the procedure for issuing certificates for free sale; granting a request from the company "MAILER MOUNTAIN RESORT" for a duty exemption specifically for imported technological equipment, component and supplementary parts, raw materials, and/or materials as part of an investment program in the relevant sector; establishing technical safety regulations for the structure and safe operation of escalators; setting technical safety regulations for the construction and operation of gas stations; and other issues.
