VIDEO: Putin and Erdogan Discuss Nagorno-Karabakh Issue

As previously reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed bilateral agenda issues during the summit in Tehran as part of the Astana format, including the Syrian settlement and the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

“There are many questions regarding the Syrian settlement as well; promising major bilateral projects are progressing and developing. Another important issue within our focus is the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem,” said Putin.

He reminded that he recently met with the President of Azerbaijan on the sidelines of the Caspian summit.

According to the Russian president, the relations between Russia and Turkey are developing regardless of external circumstances, with trade volume increasing at a significant pace.

Putin also expressed satisfaction that he and Erdogan have the opportunity to hold a bilateral meeting within the summit framework, as there are many accumulated issues to discuss.
