Video: Deputy Prime Minister Suggests Naming New State Agency 'Smile', Pashinyan Can't Contain Laughter

A new non-commercial state organization named 'Center for the Management of Electronic Systems for Police Surveillance' will be established in Armenia. The decision was made during the government’s meeting today.

Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan suggested giving the agency a shorter name, noting, 'Very often we choose names that we can’t even pronounce afterward.' This suggestion was well-received by the Prime Minister, who instructed the team to think along those lines.

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan proposed naming the agency 'Smile', which elicited uncontrollable laughter from Pashinyan. 'It has already started… the deputy prime minister suggests naming the agency 'Smile,' with the reasoning that if you smile, you’ll be photographed,' Pashinyan joked.
