Supermoon Lights Up the Sky Over Buenos Aires
The supermoon illuminated the sky over Buenos Aires yesterday, July 13. The Algonquin Indians referred to the July full moon as the "Buck Moon" because it occurs during the time when male deer grow their new antlers.
This phenomenon occurs when the Moon and Earth are at their closest point to each other.
