A Sad Evening: Cluj's Reaction to the Defeat Against Armenia's Pyunik

In the second leg of the Champions League qualification first round, Armenian champion Pyunik faced Romanian club Cluj in an away game and triumphed in the penalty shootout, advancing to the next round, reports armsport.am.

After the match, the press office of the Romanian club made a post on their social media pages stating, "It’s a sad evening. We continue the fight in the Conference League."

It is worth noting that during the penalty shootout, David Yurchenko saved two shots, which allowed the Armenian champions to move on to the second round of Champions League qualification. In the next round, Pyunik will compete against Luxembourg champions Dudelange.
