Temperatures to Reach Up to +42 Degrees
The Armenian Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center reports that the territory of the Republic continues to be under the influence of tropical hot air currents from the Arabian Peninsula. As a result, temperatures in the Ararat Plain, the foothill zones of Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor, as well as in Yerevan, are expected to reach +39 to +42 degrees Celsius during the daytime from July 13 to 17.
In Yerevan, dry weather is anticipated from July 13 to 17, with wind intensifying in the evening, reaching speeds of 17-20 m/s. For the rest of the Republic, dry weather is also expected during the same period, with winds coming from the southeast at 2-5 m/s. In Armavir, Aragatsotn, and Kotayk foothill areas, gusts of wind of 15-20 m/s are expected in the evening hours. Temperatures are projected to rise by 2-4 degrees from July 14 to 16.
In Artsakh, dry weather is expected as well, with daytime temperatures reaching +33 to +39 degrees Celsius.
