VIDEO. Lithuania Prevents Russian Trucks from Crossing

Lithuania’s customs is not allowing goods from Russia to pass through. A backlog of 340 trucks has already formed at the Lithuania-Kaliningrad border. This is reported by Readovka.

Long queues of trucks have been stuck at the border between Kaliningrad and Lithuania for several days, as the transit of several goods to Kaliningrad was banned the day before, including auto parts, cement, alcohol, wood, and industrial chemicals.

In just a few days, the number of trucks waiting to leave Kaliningrad for Lithuania at the Chernyshevskoye automobile checkpoint has reached 340. Truck drivers express frustration that traffic jams at the border began in early June, but due to the recently enacted ban, they are now forced to wait three to five days to cross.
