Iran Prepares to Supply Drones to Russia, Sullivan Says
The United States asserts that Iran is preparing to supply drones to Russia. During a press briefing at the White House on Monday evening, Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor, made this announcement, as reported by CNN. According to the American official, this information is based on data obtained from U.S. intelligence.
“Iran is expected to transfer hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia on an accelerated timeline, including strike drones that are intended for use in the ongoing war in Ukraine. This month, Iran will conduct training for Russian military personnel to teach them the skill of controlling these unmanned aerial vehicles,” Sullivan stated.
However, the National Security Advisor noted that it is still unclear whether the first batch of Iranian drones has arrived in Russia.
