50 Cent arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the "HAYA" festival. The festival's founder, Sona Hovhannisyan, has repeatedly stated that the aim of such concerts is not only to create a festive atmosphere in the city but also to draw the world's attention to Armenia. In an interview with NEWS.am, Sona informed that approximately 12,000 people attended 50 Cent's concert, with a significant portion being tourists and guests who traveled from abroad specifically for the rapper's performance, including well-known representatives from the Russian and international show business and bloggers.

Sona added that she has been receiving letters from several countries in the region, inquiring about how it came to be that such a major star performed in Armenia. 50 Cent's team has considered Armenia as one of the best countries on their tour. "This was due to our negotiations and our reputation; what we wanted to do for our country was achieved. This was a massive wave, I don’t know how much money Armenia would have to spend to have such advertising for our country. 50 Cent also posted several materials about Armenia on his page, which was also very impressive. I believe the results will become apparent over time; this was a significant step, and we will be receiving feedback for a long time, with proposals and a flow of tourism following one another. Every day, different travel agencies are contacting us; just a few days have passed since the concert, but this process is moving forward very actively," she noted enthusiastically, highlighting that their expected results are justified.

This was the first year of the festival, and we initially considered that if we had 20,000 participants, it would already be commendable, while the total number of participants for the concerts of Zaz and 50 Cent has already reached nearly 20,000, which is very pleasing. The main goal of "HAYA" is to brand Armenia, to contribute to our country's recognition and the development of tourism, ensuring that numerous tourists visit Armenia specifically for this festival. I think at this moment, we have succeeded in that, and we will not delay the continuation.
