VIDEO: Girl Beaten in St. Petersburg After Requesting Silence at Night

In the Vyborgsky district of Saint Petersburg, shopkeepers selling alcohol after 11 PM beat a girl who asked them to keep the noise down at night. The incident took place on Wednesday when a resident of the first floor of the shop requested the sellers to remove the doorbell, as its ringing was preventing her family from sleeping.

This request did not sit well with the aggressive shopkeepers, who attacked the girl in front of her mother and neighbors, throwing her to the asphalt and twisting her arms to prevent her from getting up. The incident was recorded by passersby.

As a result, the girl sustained head injuries and bruises on her body. After receiving medical assistance, she went to the police and filed a report, but the precinct refused to accept it. No one has been held accountable.

Local residents have continuously complained about that part of the city. It has been reported that almost every evening, intoxicated individuals purchasing alcohol from the shop organize fights, yet no response has been made to the residents' complaints.
