Commissioned Forensic Medical Examination for Avan Hovsepyan

Lawyer Erik Aleksanyan has stated on his Facebook page, “The court has just granted the defense's motion and commissioned a commission forensic medical examination for Mr. Avan Hovsepyan.”

Earlier, Hovsepyan's defenders released a statement, saying, “The defense has submitted a motion to the court, requesting an extraordinary hearing to reconsider the issue of changing the measure of restraint for Avan Hovsepyan. Given the current situation, Hovsepyan's detention is not only unlawful but also entails elements of torture.”
