A resident of Borpadav village in India was forced to carry her husband on her shoulders through the village streets after it was revealed that she was cheating on him. According to Mirror, the infidelity was uncovered following the woman's mysterious disappearance.

The husband spent a week searching for her before filing a complaint with the police, who eventually found the woman at her lover's house. Upon learning of the betrayal, the husband physically assaulted her.

After the incident, the woman was compelled to carry her husband on her shoulders through the village. Reports indicate that nine people were arrested following the incident, and the woman was sent to her parents' home.
