“This Is Our Difference with the Russians”: Zelenska Speaks on the War

Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska has given an interview to Italian Porta a Porta journalists. She spoke about the war in Ukraine and the difference between Russians and Ukrainians.

“If anyone tells you that it is calm and safe in all cities of Ukraine, except for those on the front line, that would be cynical Russian propaganda. Our people, our children go to sleep not knowing if they will wake up tomorrow. A Russian missile can hit at any moment, just as it did recently in the Odesa region, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv,” Zelenska stated.

The journalists asked her if she is afraid of death. “More so, I fear those people who do not care about their lives. This means they do not care about the lives of others, as they do not value their own. This is our difference with the Russians: for us, every life is important,” said Zelenska.
