Roma and Rome Will Forever Remain in My Heart: Mkhitaryan Writes Farewell Letter

New Inter signing and Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has penned farewell words to his former club, Roma.

"Roma is truly a unique club. From the moment I joined until the UEFA Conference League final, your support has been remarkable, for which I will always be grateful. When I first wore the Giallorossi shirt, my main goal was to bring glory to the club and its fantastic fans, and I am proud that we achieved that together in Tirana. That was the best ending I could have hoped for during my three years here.

Now my time at Roma is coming to an end, so I would like to thank all the members of the club for the special friendship we have built together. A big thank you also to our coaching staff, and especially to Mr. Mourinho for the trust, care, and exceptional motivation he showed me as a player.

I have given everything for this club on and off the pitch, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the unique time I spent here. This club and the Eternal City will forever remain in my heart. I love you all. Thank you, Roma. Forward, Roma,” Mkhitaryan wrote on his Facebook page.
