Nazaryan on 50 Cent's Concert: 'These Extreme Approaches Aren't Taking Us Anywhere Good'

In a recent Facebook post, Gegham Nazaryan, a member of the ARF ‘Hayastan’ faction, spoke about the 50 Cent concert and shared his thoughts on the artist’s performance.

"I hadn’t heard of 50 Cent before, and I listened to him just recently. He stands out as being above average in his genre. I realized that he hit the peak of recognition about 13 years ago,” Nazaryan noted.

He then posed a question: “What’s so wrong if 4 or 5 thousand young people went to listen to him? It’s neither a partying music nor traditional folk.”

Nazaryan added, “Folks, friends, these extreme approaches we are showcasing are not leading us to a good place. And let no one insist that those 4 or 5 thousand young people don’t care about Artsakh or are aligned with the current government.”

He urged people to consider those who are celebrating weddings and dancing with such abandon these days, as if they are disconnected from reality and the fallen soldiers are merely seen as foreigners.
