VIDEO: "Stop acting like boys, be honest" - Importers protest at the Meghri customs

Protests have been taking place at the Meghri customs checkpoint for two weeks now. A large number of importers have gathered to express their dissatisfaction with the recent decision by the Iranian government.

According to the importers, the decision has imposed a fee of $120 for each vehicle entry from the Iranian side, a charge that was not present before. Additionally, transportation costs have increased.

One importer mentioned that a few days ago they met with the head of the State Revenue Committee, Rustam Badasyan: "We reached an agreement with Badasyan that he should provide a written document allowing vehicles to pass to the other side - the neutral zone, but that written document is still pending."
