Will Johnson's Statements Influence Kremlin's Decision?

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has made a series of statements, some of which are alarming. According to RIA Novosti, this viewpoint was expressed by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov.

“You know that Mr. Johnson makes a number of expressions and statements that range from successful to less successful, completely unsuccessful, and terrifying,” Peskov said while commenting on Johnson's call to boycott the G20 summit and his statement that he would be surprised if Putin personally attends.

Peskov emphasized that such statements would not influence the Kremlin's decision.

Earlier, the assistant to the President of Russia, Yuri Ushakov, announced that Putin had received an invitation to attend the G20 summit from Indonesian President Joko Widodo. At the same time, he noted that a final decision on the level of Russia’s participation in the summit has not yet been made.
