Chicken Meat Found 'Swimming' in Bathtub: What Does the Outrageous Video Have to Do with the V inspector's Check?

The Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia has suspended the operation of a meat processing facility owned by individual entrepreneur Karen Gharibyan based on a video published by tourists. This information was reported by the Food Safety Inspection Body (FSIB) of Armenia.

In the published photos and video, it is visible that in one area of the same space, bags, pants, and other clothing are hanging, while on the other side, chicken meat is placed in the bathtub.

"Initially, the FSIB inspectors discovered gross violations of sanitary and hygiene norms during the inspection, particularly concerning the technological process that was not organized in a manner to prevent the cross-flow of raw materials and semi-finished products with finished food. The production, auxiliary, and household sinks, as well as all equipment, tools, utensils, and containers that are in direct contact with food products were also not clean and in working condition. Furthermore, the possibility for wet cleaning and disinfection was absent, and there was no changing room for personnel," the statement reads.

It is noted that the operation of the meat processing facility has been suspended, and time has been allotted to rectify the identified violations. FSIB inspectors conducted the checks based on a report received from the Yerevan Municipality, while the municipality was made aware of the situation at the facility through the video published by foreign tourists.

It should be remembered that a few days ago, a video was published showing a woman throwing cardboard boxes into a river. It should be noted that this establishment (IE) was also registered under Karen Gharibyan's name. Some news outlets suggest that this concerns the same establishment.
