Zakhrova Responds to Borrell's Proposal

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakhrova, has commented on the statement by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, regarding the necessity to abandon the principle of decision-making by consensus.

Zakhrova recalled Borrell's announcement that along with the EU's expansion, the principle of consensus in foreign policy and other areas would be reduced.

"This is liberal totalitarianism. Either everyone is in favor, or the decision will still be made," Zakhrova noted on her Telegram page.
