When will Lars become passable? Deadline given by the Armenian Embassy in Georgia

Lars has been receiving conflicting information; sometimes it is open, other times it is not operational. Auroranews.am established contact with the Armenian Embassy in Georgia to clarify the details. It was reported that within 1-2 hours, the road will be opened by the Russian side as well. Lars will soon be passable.

The consul mentioned the reason for the closure of the checkpoint in the morning: “As previously reported, the collapse sections on the Georgian side have been fixed, and the road is open. However, this morning we received information from Russia that the road is also damaged on the Russian side. The Russian side is working to resolve the problem. The road will be opened by the Russian side within 1-2 hours. Lars will soon be passable,” the embassy stated.

They contacted us again from the embassy and reiterated that the road will be opened by the Russian side within 1-2 hours. Lars will soon be passable.
