Three people have died in Missouri as a result of a train derailment. The train went off the tracks. The number of fatalities may increase. This was stated on Monday by Justin Dunn, a representative of the state's Highway Patrol, during a broadcast on CNN.

"Two people in the train have died, as well as one who was in the truck that collided with the locomotive at the crossing point," he said. The number of injured has reached 13, the network added. Hendrick Medical Center has reported admitting four injured, while the hospital affiliated with the University of Missouri has admitted another nine individuals.
