F-1 Type Grenade Found in Incomplete Building on Saryan Street
Today, June 28, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 10:00 am, the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service received a call at the 9-11 crisis management center and the Central Police Department, reporting the presence of a grenade in an incomplete building near 36A Saryan Street.
According to shamshyan.com from the scene, rescuers discovered an F-1 type grenade with its detonator removed, located near the grenade. It was established at the site that there was no need for sappers. Experts from the forensic department of the RA Police arrived to safely relocate the grenade, and the investigative work was led by an investigator from the Central Police Department’s investigative division, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
