28-year-old driver falls about 20 meters from a landslide road into a gorge

Today, on June 26, a serious car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 09:00, 28-year-old Davit S. from the Ararat region lost control of his VAZ 21010 vehicle while driving on a landslide road from the cemetery of Jrvajh village to the area known to the public as Shorbulakh. He veered off the roadway and fell approximately 20 meters into a gorge.

As reported by shamshyan.com from the scene, it was clarified that the area is not under the jurisdiction of Yerevan but rather falls within the Kotayk region. In a conversation with a photojournalist, the brother of the injured person mentioned, “We were traveling together in two cars to Artashat. We were returning from Martuni. Due to a malfunction in the car, my brother ended up in the gorge from the height. Thank God, his life is not in danger.”
