Marijuana Imported from the USA to Armenia, Customs Committee Reports

Recently, during a customs inspection of an international courier shipment imported from the USA to Armenia at the "Zvartnots" Airport Cargo Terminal, employees from the Customs Committee's Anti-Smuggling Department and Western Customs Office discovered 1,334 grams of marijuana in 70 tin cans.

The Customs Committee has reported this information. Based on the identified characteristics of a crime as per Article 267.1 of the Armenian Criminal Code, the customs officials have referred the discovered narcotic substance to the Customs Committee’s Investigation and Operational Intelligence Department.
