American Swimmer Faints in Water During World Championship

American swimmer Anita Alvarez fainted in the water during her routine at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest. The 25-year-old athlete was rescued and pulled from the water by her coach. BBC reports that the swimmer was not breathing when she was transported out on a stretcher.

Her coach has stated that she is now feeling well and her organ functions have fully recovered.
