VIDEO: Death Toll from Afghanistan's Deadliest Earthquake Reaches 1,000

In Afghanistan, the death toll from a recent earthquake has reached 900. This is reported by Readovka. 

The earthquake, measuring 6.1 in magnitude, has resulted in at least 950 confirmed deaths and more than 600 injuries. Authorities expect the death toll to rise as more information comes in from remote mountainous villages.

According to local media, this is the deadliest earthquake since 2015, when approximately 400 people lost their lives in Afghanistan, neighboring Pakistan, and India.
